A short one about some people with shortcomings (no not like that, naughty)

This week we have been talking about inappropriate crushes – some of them involve politicians and are too controversial to mention…. buy Stick It

I have had several of these starting with my maths teacher Mr Ford, who had a west country accent and a way with numbers (although perhaps that is appropriate for a teenager).  Then I used to fancy Ryu, the character from Street Fighter, yes in all his pixelated glory, I think it was his headband.  There was Eric from the Little Mermaid.  Tristan from all Creatures Great and Small.  Dr Evils son when he was in the Kodak ad.  Nicholas Lyndhurst when he was in Goodnight Sweetheart.  One of my housemates (former, male).  Anyone who has played Buttons in a pantomime ever.  My most recent and everlasting one is James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano – yeah I know he has a gut, but it’s the mixture of vulnerability and power that gets me every time.

Seeing that the …Harry name came up, we couldn’t help but wonder if you had seen Daniel latest challenge, to say the least, he’s grown up. In case you haven’t heard, here’s a link for you:

From what I hear, his acting on stage is far better than on film, and well worth having a look at. I hope you enjoy! It’s the least I can give you for all the wonderful work breaks you give me with your chirpy emails once a week!

When I was younger I had a seriously big crush on Joanna Lumley who used to play ‘Purdey’ in the ‘New Avengers’. To be honest, I still have a big crush on her even if she is old enough to be my Mum. I also had a big crush on childrens TV presenter Wei Wei Wong when I was small, don’t know what happened to her.

These days my crush is on a certain female member of The Laundry staff……. :-)

ooooh there were pictures of grown up (and very hairy) Harry in the Observer magazine this weekend and yes, he has grown up quite a bit! Even as the youngest member of The Laundry team I still find it a bit disturbing though… that’s Harry Potter! Naked! In a respectable Sunday newspaper! My goodness.

As for crushes on a ‘certain female member of The Laundry staff’, I’ll leave her to reply for herself!

Cough, splutter, blush, yes I happen to know that Andrew means me – thanks for dropping me in it Helen. How exciting, but how unprofessional, note to self, must stop flirting on the phone to new customers…hmmmm love life vs professional reputation – wish you could see me literally weighing this up with my hands. Andrew, if we go on a date, you realise that I WILL be writing about it on this blog!

A quick check of odd crushes at my office revealed one humdinger. Boris Johnson!!! Apprently in the flesh he has “A certain Magnistism”. Personally I find him repellant.

Rach, who is the guy with the crush? You havn’t mentioned him to me once!

Hello Laundry Lovely, anything to add?:
