Less of a habit, more of a lark

Today’s blog was inspired by a string of attacks on office stationery here at the Laundry.
Exhibit A shows two of the victims, each less than six months old and made of recycled materials. In both cases, the pens appear to have been tortured. Preliminary investigations point to Laundrette Harriet as a possible suspect, though copycat activity has not been ruled out. What is clear, is that someone has a bad habit. How naughty is that? It got me thinking about habits, and whether it’s worth the effort of changing your ways. I didn’t have to look far for more evidence.
